Those are the ones on Spike, right? I never liked those, but they don't seem as sponsorship-esque this year. Well, except for "most addictive video game fueled by dew," which was must've been part of Microsoft's agreement with Mountain Dew and their "game fuel," whatever that's made out of.
Overall that's not bad, though. They should put more categories in, like best DS and PSP game instead of just grouping handhelds together. Well, now to wait for all the websites' games of the year/awards celebrations and see what they thought.

Yes, this year i did like as much b/c most of the game that won or was voted in for that cat were 90% all the games that just came out with a month of so. Did hear any games from the start or mid of the year. Like God of War 2

Halo 3 has the MD promotional, that's why they had that award.
Yeah, I missed Spike's awards from last year. I'm gonna agree with most of those ratings for the games they picked. I've heard really good reviews/seen good previews of most of them. (Not too familiar with Crysis, though I know I should be. <_<)
