www.joystiq.com/2008/03/10/dreamcast-com-converted-into-phishing-scam-sega-warns/

Basically: Not owned by Sega anymore and is a phishing site trying to get info from Dreamcast owners

Because they have no reason to have it anymore. Why would they keep the domain of a console dead for 10 years?

10 year anniversary is a big thing though. Plus, it doesn't cost them THAT much to keep it running anyway.

Yeah, I don't see why they wouldn't keep it up, or at least have it redirect to some Dreamcast history page on their current site.

But good info in case someone were to (for some reason) want to submit info there.

A dreamcast.com wouldn't be too bad to have. I wouldn't use it either way, but still. :P

It won't load for me. Probably means they finally got going with the lawsuit.
