Dunno where you heard AVG was bad because it's supposedly the BEST free antivirus there is.

AVG's free? I have no idea. :P

I use AVG and Avast! It's better to have two anti-virus running at the same time. Filter everything twice. ;)

I use a combination of AVG and Zonealarm. Personally, I think that Norton filters out viruses too strictly,and because of its coding, it takes control of the PC and it drags the OS slow.

Doesn't that completely hog system resources, though?

Anyway, I guess I'll try AVG, even though no one's really confirmed what kind of "real-time protection" it has.
