 That ^^ is a picture of my new laptop. It's superfast, 150GB hard drive, runs XP, blah, blah, blah. What I need is some expert advice on some nifty (for want of a better word) programs to put on it. I've got Office, but is there anything helpful/to make it prettier that I should install? Thanks!

This is an old computer that I barely do anything on (and I think I'm slowly becoming technologically incompetent as time goes on), so I don't think I have any good ones. Go to download.com and check out anything interesting over there. You're probably gonna need a media player (FLV player, maybe), some music organizer, Photoshop. Maybe some skin modifier if you wanna change looks.
And some good anti-virus/spyware programs. You're gonna need 'em with all that porn.

But yeah, maybe get some messengers if you like to chat. Obviously install a sexy, non-IE browser like Chrome, Opera, or Firefox. Anti-virus can help, or, if you're like me, you back up often and clear if you get a virus. But yeah, maybe a music player (iTunes or Winamp are my recommendations.) Games?
