Alright, I've decided that I'm going to buy an Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Black Edition. Of course, I'll also need a new mohterboard. The one I've had my eyes on is the Abit Fatal1ty AN9 32x, found here. What do you think? Should I go for it? I've had some real bad luck with motherboards, and Abit is the most recent manufacturer on my list. I've heard good things about this one, though.
