you see tobias, thats how i used to be but you'll realise in time when you come to change something small in your script thats been a while since you first wrote it you will struggle to find it... so if you actually comment the script it will be alot easier to find. Well my site isn't that big, and I've gone back and ficed things so often that I've practically memorised where everything is. I've also got part of it split up into different parts, like the UBBC parser in one files, etc, so one file will effect the rest of the site and it's easy to find. What I don't so is go out and say, okay, this is for bold, this is for reading the file with the posts, etc.

I just try to see what works, I start with <?php and go from there, same way with all the other languages I know, only with their respective tags. If someone looked at the code to my site at this point they'd think I was crazy. It's completely disorganized.

Definately looks interesting. What formats are you going to export to/save to? Anyway, a tools list would include some basic shapes, of course (Rectangular Prism, Sphere, Pyramid, etc.). I dunno about special features, a lot of modeling programs already have most of the ones that are useful, so look to those, I suppose. I might use this for my game modeling, should it work well. Oh, so depending on the intended purpose, it'll probably need some UV mapping tools. Anyway, good luck, and I'd love to hear updates as they come.

The ones that were supposed to be in perl, not javascipt.

Chris, how many lines is this? (3 Ternary Opertaors grouped in the else statements) base+=(board&&action)?'board='+board+'&action='+action:(board)?'board='+board:(action)?'action='+action:''; (Just an exmaple of something like it, not actually from my competition code)

I've got almost the entire backend written to store the data, now all I need is an idea. EDIT: Idea found.

This may sound stupid, since it should be secure anyway, but how important is the security of the server-side coding?

When the total lines is increased to 3000 with server side, does that mean 2000 for client side and 1000 for server side, or can we mix and match with 2500 client and 500 server, or 1500 each, etc.?

Name: Tobias What group you think you're in: Advanced, but not very. Three of your best works:1. Code Database for DX5 Skins (Still in progress) 2. wiLsiakk's Site (Not sure if this counts, I coded the site from scratch, though, and he did the graphics. Still in development, also.) 3. Fix Reply Button in PMsSuggestions/comments:Sorry if the second is advertising or doesn't count, I just haven't done many codes for proboards in general.

Safari

Safari sucks. Yesh I faced the same problem with the fonts.plist file -- In my comp, it was listing fonts till only "L" and everything after that vanished. So I started with invisible menu and websites with verdana or tahoma font as blank. Thats been fixed now. Opera opens sites 5 times as fast as Safari. Don't see whats the hype abt. And yesh it takes as long as Firefox 2 to start. Mine only went to B. Mine actually went pretty fast for loading and starting up though, so I think I'll switch if I ever find add-ons/skins. I don't like how it doesn't match my system.
