I'm liking the gradients. They look nice.
The menu buttons, and the banner, kind of turn me off though.

Agreed. Colors, BG, text all look alright. Buttons and banner need to be changed. GL with the forum

I think it looks nice, my only problem is; the menu buttons, folders and the Infocenter images. other than that, it looks good. I do also like the banner background, the text; not too sure.

New icons look better. another thing might be to alter the backgroung image so that it look more seamless. Is the BG actually about 500 px high? You might be better off reducing the hight to about 10 px (you wont lose the texture) to make the page load faster for people on slow connections. Making the BG static might look better too (I suffer from migrains and when those textures move about - I get headaches).
