He only got 12 months? For beating his daughter with a concrete slab and then kicking her in the face? I see something wrong here. Indeed jesse, I am not religious nor will I ever be, but there seems to be a lot of corruption within the ranks, as with EVERYTHING. So to tar all with one brush would be wrong, I agree.
