one.com has pretty good prices and are offering both domains and hosting. godaddy.com is also pretty good. You can also check out. www.web-hosting-top.com/ for a list of top-10 web hosts.

Another good host at the price as hostgator.com. I actually use it for SZ's hosting. Good service, good up-time, no issues so far.

asmallorange is good. You get what you pay for and they don't give you any issues about "resource" usage.
If you know a bit more about computers/servers linode has good virtual server plans.
