Right. Post in the right board next time, please. Sorry, I figured beings it was (somewhat) about christmas, it would fit. Yeah, perhaps. I think it's better suited for the VG board, though. *shrugs*

'grats on getting it.
I don't think I'd personally like one though, I'm just a fan of a controller that you hold, like xbox or playstation (or older nintendo).

'grats. Wii's are quite a bit of fun... I obviously recommend Super Smash Bros Brawl and New Super Mario. Both are good games.

Opera=Win.
But Wii's...they're too gimicky. I have one, and basically anything with Mario in it is good (Smash Bros, Paper Mario, Mario Kart, etc) and Castlevania Judgement...because it's Castlevania. And some other games. But really, it gets kinda old fast unless you're playing with other people.

But really, it gets kinda old fast unless you're playing with other people. The internet on them is useless, it cant even load google.com within 1 minute. But eh, it's not made for it (mainly). I think that's more of a connection issue than a hardware/software issue, but I don't know. I haven't tried out the internet on my Wii.

Considering you can play Brawl against others online, that's a connection issue most likely... to stream enough info for Brawl requires decently fast internet.

I personally don't like the wii, but congrats. I'd rather stick with my xbox 360 over the wii anyday.

I think this is impossible. But it is a start. Do you think Wii will create a somewhat "Virtual FPS" experience. Or maybe Xbox360 with Project Natal? As, for the PS3, I do not see any signs of new experience.

Indeed I did. I like it also. Got it connected to my router, and whoa. It uses 2 things I never knew it did. 1.) ATI Graphics Card (xbox uses nvidia) 2.) Internet powered by Opera Very interesting. The internet isnt half bad, just kinda slow. And I need a USB keyboard, typing 1 letter at a time with the wiimote is lame. Nintendo use ATI in the gamecube too. All the Wii is, actually, is essentially two of the GPUs from the gamecube. And, the original Xbox used NVIDIA, but the 360 uses ATI. Opera was a wise choice for a browser, but the lack of add-ons (flash, for example) make it fairly worthless.
