I've always wanted to see one. Not only to hear what kinds of things others are making, but to upload my own music, and get opinions. What do you think?

PureVolume used to be exactly that. A spot for Indie bands and music creators to post their stuff. I'm not sure how it is run nowadays but give it a try.  Also, MySpace Music is about the same too. Neither of them is a big art community, though.

Acidplanet used to be awesome www.acidplanet.com/Way more community driven than PV or myspace or anything. Now it's not as great, but I just noticed they have an Infected Mushroom remix contest, so I suppose the admins haven't abandoned us yet.
