Just a fun little thread. Suggest a song for us to listen to. This is sorta the spiritual successor to Song of the Day. Keep it to one song a day, you can double post if no one posts after your last post. Try to stick to songs that the average person hasn't heard. Songs from unknown artists or new tracks that just got released, that kind of thing. Use this little form to make it neat: Song: Artist: Link: Genre:
Use Youtube or similar for the link, don't link to a music file though.

Song: Brompton Cocktail Artist: Avenged Sevenfold Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8N0On7LMZo4Genre: Alternative Metal... kinda Never listened to this one before but the music is absolutely awesome. Like... I can't describe how awesome it is. Also, how is it that M. Shadows shitty as hell voice can fit absolutely any song, no matter what the style? It throws me through a loop. Like, it's a miracle the guy makes a living singing at all, much less singing in very different styles of music (he pulls it off at festivals all the time from what I have seen where he'll sing guest vocals for bands)

Song: Take Me Away Artist: Taking Dawn Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDJTikGGi7oGenre: Hard Rock/Metal/Glam Pretty awesome band, Definitely influenced by the 80's bands like Poison, Motley Crue, Scorpions, Styx...they pretty much mashed that style with todays melodic tendencies that bands use these days. Heard them 4 days ago, and bought there debut album the next day. Been hooked on them nonstop never since.
