So the pilot aired tonight for The Walking Dead. AMC has done it yet again. After the absolute brilliance of Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and Rubicon, they have yet another masterpiece on their hands. This is what I had always wanted out of every zombie movie I saw. This is the kind of thing that made World War Z such an amazing book. There's actual emotion in the story. It isn't just humans trying to survive by killing zombies... it's them actually dealing with the loneliness and madness of being one of the few remaining humans and all that comes with that.
