So. The latest sports biopic is The Fighter starring Mark Wahlberg as Micky Ward, Christian Bale as Dicky Ecklund, Amy Adams, and Mellisa Leo. It was one of the best films I have seen this year, that much is for sure. I'm seriously laughing at Josh Brolin calling himself the front runner for Best Supporting Actor (for True Grit) a few weeks ago, though. There's nothing he can that can match what Christian Bale did in The Fighter. Everyone fell in love with Christoph Waltz last year (and rightly so), but Bale has finally showed us what he is truly made of and gave the performance of his career. Anyone else see it?
