So I've been listening to the unreleased sophomore album from Dark New Day over the last couple of days and stumbled on a new band through Last.fm. It's a supergroup of sorts featuring guys from Dark New Day, Sevendust, and SubmerseD. It has a very Sevendust feel to it (and it should, since all of the members have ties to the band), but is actually a tad bit heavier, I think. The singer from SubmerseD has done a great job adapting to the heavier sound of Eye Empire.

Anyway, it's alternative metal. Good stuff, too. Check out their MySpace for some good listening. Bull in a China Shop, Great Deceiver, and Idiot are the ones that stand out to me so far.
