I made this recently, however with photobucket's 1mb limit, the resolution has been reduced. Used to be 1920x1080. Anyway tell me what you think!

Bunch of textures that I made into brushes, used those to make a varied surface, used some hue/saturation layers + levels etc to change it. Lots of smudging... LOTS of smudging..

Nice. I never got around to learning how to make my own brushes, but the rest of what you said I have done before/understood. Was it made with GIMP or Photoshop? (Or Paint?  )
