For tutorials that are great for beginners and easy to comprehend, I'll have to recommend htmlite.com. Jay

w3schools really doesn't cover all you should know to be honest. I'm self-taught and learned from viewing the source of pages (like PBv3), but that's just me.

I feel so lonely. I'm probably one of the only coders on PB that didn't learn from htmlite or w3schools. I learned the fundamentals of HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP from webmonkey. All else I know came from a vast array of websites congregated through google.

I don't know if i'd consider myself "self-taught". I've never had anyone tutor me if that's what you mean. When I read through tutorials though I usually look at the codes provided and try to break them down and form my own conclusions before reading the explanations. It's a good habit to get in to.

i'd have to say w3schools, htmllite and webmonkey for my main three but i also studied alot of coding books, i think we are all "self taught" unless you actually studied the subjects in school or college really.
