I'm not too sure if this is a code issue, but I was wondering if anyone knew the method behind the assignment of post/thread numbers. I know it has to do something with the date that the post/thread was made, because I made up a post number, and it said that the post was made in January 12th, 1904 :P

I thought that it might be the number of seconds since 1970, but that's way to many. It's 103,000,000 minutes more than even the year 0.

Anyone know/have any ideas?

Actually, it uses a form of Unix time, which is the number of seconds since December 31st, 1969 at 7pm ;)

Also, be careful when using it with JS. JS requires either 3 or 4 more trailing zero's (can't remember which).
