i have been thinking a while for a new project, and now since i have the php moderator position i thought maybe we could get some ideas for a project together, work on it and then maybe if it is good enough have it as a download on the SZ website (when its made) This project will be a total php & mysql powered website system that will feature content management, user auth and what not... not only will this be a good challenge but it will also let me see what type of coders we have here, now i know most of you are very good at jscript.. where i am not.. i love php its really the only language i really wanted to study... I'll update this post with what ever ideas get thrown into the mix... Well, I could help with some of the JS assuming you don't get someone better's offer.  As for features, try these. - A article part. Basically, you can create magazines/issues/articles and place them as sub-divisions with who wrote them (allowing for multiple), when they were made, and a description/short summary. - Create any extra pages for random data. - User system. Since its a website system, it'll be useful. - Integration with one of three kinds of forums (PHPBB, WBBLite, and vB (Assuming you have access to a copy)). That's all I have for now.

That's all I have for now. yeah... i like the idea of the SSI that smf uses... maybe we can add a portal hack into it... export news from phpbb onto the website, i have a copy of vB i use it for testing my codes out... but i don't really like it... anyway... i'll add these to the list and as for the jscript help that'll be great
