As a designer, you must know some web coding. Whether or not you like it... it is a necessity unless you are carrying around your own coder under your arm at all times. So... what languages do you know? I know HTML and CSS but I can also read/modify javascript and PHP to a certain extent. If you don't know any web languages, have you considered learning the basics? Believe it or not, those Photoshop produced templates aren't coded well at all and just to use the code you have to do some hefty modifications because it doesn't allow you to add text over the images.

I am pretty fluent with CSS/XHTML. I thought of starting off with Javascript but it'll take too much time. I will try though :P

XHTML, CSS, PHP.

I'd love to say I know JS, but Chris would have to beat me.

Self-taught though. I learned the <font> tag on HyperBoards. And now.. Well, now, I run about four websites!

And Josh: I really agree with the photoshop-coded templates. Even JUST a graphic designer should be able to tell that.

If any of you don't know much (if anything) about web development/coding in general, you should really consider learning. Don't be afraid of getting your hands dirty; it pays off!

CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and if you count AJAX separate from Javascript, AJAX.

AJAX isn't different. :P It's "Asynchronous JavaScript and XML," so therefore it's just JS and XML. (Most people only use the JS portion though.)
