Well, I read about 3/4 of the article. It seems interesting and the fact that he's returning promises good things for the series. What I want to see is a lot more characters and stages as you said, but more mini-games (like Targets and the baseball thing with the giant mushroom), more unlockables and secrets would be nice too, gives it more of a twist and makes it longer.
Oh well, we'll see how it ends up
