Sometimes, I wonder how many of them actually get released. Seriously, every week I think I hear about some new up-and-coming blockbuster based on a game, but it never comes out. Just now they keep saying that there's gonnna be a movie based on the Sims. www.gamespot.com/news/6171544.htmlI don't understand what the actual story or conflict is in the Sims, but hey, why not make a film 'bout it? I also remember a Halo movie, a Metroid movie, and I think a Postal movie (but that's by Uwe Boll so no one really cares). You know, I'm gonna make a movie, based on, well...how about Pong. Only I really know the true conflict that brews between the left and right paddle, and only I truly realize how damaged the pong ball is (emotionally too) of being the middle man in this vicious love triangle. Or woman. I haven't really figured out gender roles here. I have room to think it over. It'll come out in 2008. Or maybe '09. Actually, I'll just slap a TBA sticker on it. Everyone else is doing it, right? Or maybe I think too much about these things. Here's the point where I say "what do you guys think about this?" and you say I'm crazy. =P

Great a sims movie, i can't wait and see the cast for this... If they want to make games into movies do it on the games they could follow the storyline without screwing it up. Like Matal gear soild... sorry drawing a blank on the game one with snake. or God of war games like thoses are good ones to choose from. I think this movie wont come out.

Pretty much i can't see what else they can do for a storyline... but i can see it Sims the Movie #1 blockbuster in 2007 or whenever it comes out Arucard, they are making a God of War movie. they better not mess that one up. Really!?! *dances around and screams like a school girl* Sorry, kickass man. If they screw up God of war Movie i will have to do some ass kicking.

A sims movie, that's a little odd. I can't really imagine it being a GREAT movie. I don't think games should bew turned into movies, even though movies turned into games are usually fun.

IN A WORLD WHERE GHOSTS RUN RAMPANT ONE MAN HAS THE POWER TO CHANGE OUR FATE THAT MAN IS PAC-MAN hells yeah That was a pretty good made-up trailer, though, even with the lame/cheesy ghost effects. So yeah, that's what I meant Scorpian. =P I guess a MGS movie could do pretty well, but I wonder if that's necessary. Sometimes I forget I'm playing a game when I'm watching MGS. Or playing it, whatever. Either way, they'd have to get David Hayter to play Snake, or no dice.

the Halo movie is put on hold, the production costs were well over 200 million, so they put that project on hold until they can sort it out...executive producer Peter Jackson (I think he's Executive Producer) said that It's on hold, but said that they will without a doubt make a movie for it!
