I say ladies and gentleman, I say boys and girls, it took a while longer for all the entries to get turned in, but I do say that it's time to start the second round. Good news is that no one got left behind and everyone advanced to the second round, but no new entries were submitted.

Also, I know the topic title has one ugly-ass acronym stuck up there where it doesn't belong, but I had to make the rest of the description fit. It'll change it back after this round.

But, here we are, after all this time, in the second round, which I thought was the quarterfinals, but it's really something like the...eighthfinals. Man that rolls off the tongue all nice and smooth, huh. So the stakes are higher this deep in the tournament, as each round is now worth 4 points, double the value of the...sixteenthfinals (?)...the first round, you guys know what I'm talkin' about. This could be the time that people really jump ahead or trip and fall behind in the standings, which are, as they've always been and most likely always will be, at the end of this post.

Of course 16 characters can't say they advanced as they got bumped off by bigger, better, and badder characters that you see standing here today, which includes top-seeded legendary icon Mario against the purple fire-breathing dragon with skills, Spyro. Both are the respective stars of their own series, but only one comes out of this bout. Start your trip to the polls, and drop any questions/comments you guys might have on the way there.
