After the relative success of the game character tournament, I figured this board should have another contest. I was going to follow it up with a best character/game ever tourny, but that seemed a little stale, and from that somehow arrived on the idea of a quiz-like contest. Then it hit me. Alex Trebek has run the same thing for like 100 years now, so Jeopardy has to have something interesting in it, right? Right. So, we'll basically have a Jeopardy tournament, with categories, points, prizes, even daily doubles and all that good stuff. Anyone can enter (except me), and rules and such will be described in a little bit. Questions/comments, as always, go here. Can I enter just to give some competition? I don't really care about prizes or anything.

Yeah, you can do whatever you want. I'm just putting prizes up as incentive.

Just sign up for now. Once I get everything started, it'll be like a typical Jeopardy match (but with more people). At that point all you'll have to do is be the first one to answer questions correctly to get points. It'll be awesome, trust me.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JeopardyThere's a question board, but the question isn't revealed until someone picks it. Until then it's all money values. If you get it right, points, if not, the other people get to answer until someone/no one gets it right. You keep picking questions until the board is cleared. I can go more in depth if need be, but it's been a while since I've actually seen it on TV so I don't know how accurately I remember the rules, but I'm pretty sure that's how it goes. I thought this was a worldwide thing, but apparently places like the UK haven't had a localized version of Jeopardy since 1996, according to good ol' Wikipedia.
