Welcome, welcome to Studio Zero's Jeopardy tournament. Hosted by me, I'll try to do my best Alex Trebek impression at all times during the contest. First of all, rules and guidelines. I never really outlined them during sign-ups, and while I don't really think I need to, it's better to have them out in the open just in case. The rules are pretty simple, though. To start off, someone will pick a point value from the board. The larger the point (dollar) value the harder the question will typically be. From that point forward, all contestants will have 24 hours from the time that I post the actual clue to answer it or until the next time I log on, whichever is longer. You can answer the question whenever you'd like, of course, but that's the deadline. This is to keep things moving so progress isn't as slow as the character tournament. The fact that I'm going out of town after this week isn't going to help me, but I'll try to find a way around that. If someone gets the question right, he gets the points and now is the person designated to choose the next question. If no one gets it right, then the same person from before picks another clue from off the board. For the first question and the first question only, whoever posts first in this topic can pick whatever question/clue/value amount they want. If someone gets a question wrong, they will simply not receive any points. This rule has been changed and points will no longer be deducted for incorrect answers. When you answer the question, as I will keep going with the Jeopardy theme here, you must also answer in the form of a question. This is because the "question" being asked is actually in the form of an answer. If you've ever watched the show you'll understand. So for example, I might say, "The color of the sky," to which you'd respond, "What is blue?" and then I'd give you the points. Answers not in the form of a question will not be accepted. There will be three rounds, Jeopardy, Double Jeopardy, and Final Jeopardy. For the Jeopardy round, there will be one Daily Double. A Daily Double is a question where you can wager how many points you'd like it to be worth. You can wager up to however much you have at the moment, or the largest point value of a clue/question that is currently on the board, whichever is larger. The minimum amount you can wager is $5 (thank you Wikipedia for reminding me about these). I think that's about it. There's more to explain about Double and Final Jeopardy, but I can explain about that when we get there. No need to complicate things. It was surprisingly tough coming up with these questions, but I think I did a good job with the difficulty. Overall I'd say it's leaning towards the easy side if anything. If, for some reason, you still have any questions after reading all of this, you can ask me or read Jeopardy's Wikipedia page. Either way should be helpful. So, now that all the explaining is out of the way, let's get on with the game. Jeopardy!History | Sequels | Founding Fathers | Genres | Peripherals/Add-Ons | $ 200

So what do I do? I replied first - do I win? Can anyone answer the questions? Or is is the person that chose the question? Also, can we all respond if the answer has already been said - if so do we all get the points?

Also, can we all respond if the answer has already been said - if so do we all get the points? You did reply first, and yes, you do win the ability to pick the first question. So just pick a dollar/point value from the board. Tell me which category too, of course. Anyone can answer the question, but only the first person to get it right gets points. Whoever gets it right then chooses the next clue from the board, but anyone can answer once the clue is given. Repeat the process, etc. etc.

What's peripherals. What sort'a questions? I'll go for $1000 Peripherals!

We have a man who likes to live life on the edge. Peripherals are like add-ons to a system, which I've now added to the description. All right, here we go, peripherals for $1000, which happens to be the hardest question on the whole board, I think: This little PlayStation accessory, released only in Japan, saw little use in actual gameplay, with the exception being a chocobo mini-game in Final Fantasy VIII You all have 24 hours.

Was it a virtual headset? O.o

Is that your final answer, "What is a virtual headset?"
Yes...
Well then you're wrong. But it was a good guess. Any other risk takers?

It's been a little more than 24 hours, my bad. Anyway, since no one else buzzed in, the correct answer would have been: What was the PocketStation? Don't worry, I think that was the hardest question (I was running out of ideas at that point). Since no one got it right, Wrighty still gets to choose the next question. Corrupt, at that point all you could've done was answer the current question.

Sequels -- $400 This game basically put RPG's on the map, and was also the first 3-D iteration of one of, if not the, most popular RPG series
