en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_fantasy_iv_dsI think my heart stopped. I need, to, like, buy a DS or something. I loved this game. This game WAS my childhood. Most had FF7 or something... I had freaking FF2 with Cecil, Rosa, Kain, Edge, and Rydia... the changes will be interesting, but it'll be freaking tight. Apparently 3/4 of the original plot in the SNES version was left out... and they plan to work like 1/4 of that into the DS version. This should kick ass. Yes, yes I am quite excited.

I played the PS1 version with Chronicles, which apparently was the "real" version, which also meant that the game was pretty difficult. Not impossible, but using glitches definitely helped me out of some frustration. Since they're remaking it hopefully they'll keep it manageable. Square really likes making money though. FFIV Advance and now a DS remake? I guess the changes seem promising, especially all that menu clean-up which was kind of a drag in the original. I might rent it first (now that I just found out Blockbuster added DS games to their rentals). Is this gonna make you give in and buy a DS Lite?

Never. I'll borrow my girlfriend's temporarily. As sad as that is. The first one wasn't hard at all... You just had to know how to use your spells wisely and actually use Cecil (Paladin) to heal like every other turn. Edge - Always attack. Throw spoon and stuff on final boss. Rydia - Nuke or Meteo. Every turn. Cecil - Attack and heal. Alternate turns. Rosa - Heal full party to full health every turn if possible. Kain - Jump every turn. Final boss = dead. (Make sure to use the crystal though. Otherwise you can't hurt him.) In otherwords, it's a pushover. Last time I found that game hard... I was 7.
