And is accepting new applicants. When I said it'd be ready tomorrow I meant the day after. So come one, come all to the next round of our exciting Jeopardy-ish game show. The rules have changed from our previous Jeopardy round, and while the game itself has become less like the real Jeopardy as time as gone on, that's probably for the better. Unfortunately, that means I have to explain the rules again. I'll try to be as specific and blunt as possible, since for some reason last time no one really understood what I was talking about. Here's the general gist of things and how they'll work: --the first person who comes into this topic and asks for a question gets to pick it (e.g. a point value from the board). It's first come first serve this time around. --once I give the actual clue, once again, whoever answers the question first gets the points. --the person who gets the question right IS NOT GUARANTEED to pick the next question. After I verify that a correct answer has been given, ANYONE can come in and select the next clue/point value. Other things: --there will be three Daily Doubles this time around, one more than usual to make up for the lack of any in the previous round. When someone picks the DD, he is the ONLY one able to answer it. First I will announce that the clue selected is a DD, and then the contestant must wager a point value. If he gets it right, he earns the amount he wagered. If not, he loses that selected amount. Daily Doubles are the only way to actually lose points. For all other questions you will simply receive no points for an incorrect answer, so don't be afraid to guess. All other rules remain the same: 24-hour time limit for answers and picking questions, you must answer in the form of a question, and all that good stuff. One other thing: if you wish to join at this point, I've decided that it's ok to accept more contestants from now on. Everyone with a $0 point value has been taken off the board, but not necessarily eliminated. If someone answers a question correctly or simply makes an attempt to answer it, they will be added to the player board. So basically, if you want to play now and weren't able to before, now you can.Point values are double what they were last round... That's all I can think of, but if I missed anything or you're still confused, you can just ask. No worries. This round will be followed by Final Jeopardy, which will simply be one question. Ron is correct, and gets $2000. I think that was a little easy for a 2k question.
