It's difficult to do that in all cases though. However, I should be able to do something like that at least for deviantArt links. Also, what's wrong with using the status bar to see what the link is?

I do use the status bar usually, but I guess it's just one of those anoying things having to rollover a link.

You have to rollover it to click the link anyway... and how is it any different then them using a random image that has nothing to do with the link?

I meant like some uses [url=URL][img src="src"][/url] =P You still have to hover to view it anyway.

Yeah which, with that it's fine. Though most people put in descriptions what site it's hosted on etc. So you don't need to check.
