Macs are no better at graphics unless you plan to use Mac only software (like Final Cut Pro or something). You can do anything you can do on a Mac on Windows and vice versa, if things are cross platform

19 seconds for PSCS4 64-bit boot up. The logo box showed up at 12. Firefox took 22 seconds to start up.... with a crap load of tabs.  I'd say that isn't too bad.
