Flu does suck. Mono sucks worse, though. I missed 26 days of school over it in sixth grade. Also was not allowed to do any physical activity for six freaking months because of an enlarged spleen caused by it.
I would have gladly taken the flu over freaking mono without a doubt.

I have a great immune system. I feel bad for people when they get sick but I've never had the flu and haven't caught anything that even gives me a runny nose for years.

Josh, you're seriously complaining about having mono and missing 26 days of school? Try having it during the summer when it's 100+ degrees on top of a 103 fever, and you can't leave your house for six weeks, plus pile on the 6 months of no physical activity.
