Because it's a dead end. PB is going no where but down. Gotta branch out. I'm surprised Chris hasn't moved on as well.

Well, it's a dead end, but not necessarily for that reason. There is no money to be made in coding for ProBoards unless you're coding the actual system (i.e. Martyn, Pat, etc.). I do it as a hobby and for fun still, that's the only reason I'm still around. It's also why I'm never in a rush with code requests/support... I like to help, but life is -always- number one over PB. That being said, it is a decent stepping stone in the long process of learning. It's what turned me to programming and it's part of the reason I'm at MIT actually. So, yeah.

Yeah, I can't stand programming for remotely hosted forums. Not fun. Branching out = awesome.

PB is a good free forum, that doesn't take anything to set up. Which is why I find myself using PB over other forums.

Night: You missed my point. It was a good learning platform, but it is very impractical as a way of making money, which is unfortunately most of life's goals.
