Chris.. replying JUST before me.

I've done this quite a few times. :P

And, again, hard drive can plug -into- the xbox, so no need to stream.

Ohhhhhh.. But yeah, no point unplugging both my HDD + Xbox to take into the living room - bigger TV.
Not even worth unplugging both for my bedroom tv either.
Easier to stream via tversity and xbox,

I just have no idea what information I need to provide, at all.
I will have to move out of my current property where I am when they find a property yes. Reason for this is because it's in my brothers name - the tenancy was succeeded- and I can't take it over even though their tenancy would be completely new, because it's a joint one. Once a tenancy has been succeeded, you can not be put on to it (as a partner, relative or anything).

What I failed to explain was that we aren't actually having to move out yet etc.
Basically you send in the housing form to be put on a waiting list. Where you are on the list depends on several things, but mainly: how long you have lived in the area you are wanting to live (if you haven't lived there at all, you get 0pts); whether you have a child; whether you are disabled; and lots of other things.

There are different types of lists too. Waiting times for some are much longer than others. For example, for a 1 bedroom flat, because they are in such high demand, I'd be on a waiting list for 3 years. What they want is a 2bed (one for them + they have a child).. So that means they would get the 2 bed flat/house faster than what I would a flat. Meaning, this whole thing will actually most likely make me homeless.

Much appreciated. I genuinely suck at letter writing.

I was put on my brother's and his girlfriends housing application form.
I now want to be removed from it because I don't want to be living with them two for longer than I have to.

Plus, they will be having all the power because the tenancy in in their name, I will just be listed as living with them, so a lodger.

I don't like living with ANY of them one bit.

For me to be removed from the form, I have to send in a letter to the council, but my problem is that I don't know what to put, how to put it, what info to include/not include. Or even how to start/end the letter.

So far all I have is (It's most likely all wrong and just stupid):

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to request that I, Brett Millward be removed from NAME and NAME's housing application. This is due to them being their own family, and I don't want to be a third wheel.

Sincerely,
Brett Millward. (this will be a signature)

and will NOT be in the letter, obviously.

Edit:
This will be a hand written letter by the way, since I have no printer.

I think it's quite possible then that my TV just doesn't play/handle my HDD..
Big shame, would have made things much simpler. But oh well. :(

Edit:
Chris.. replying JUST before me. Both at the same time, just obv. not the same second.
Anyway.. I have TVersity to stream movies/shows (videos) from my PC through my Xbox. Some times handles MKV, some times doesn't, but so long as I find an avi, I have no problem.

I plugged it in and nothing happened.
Usually if for example I plug in my xbox and use tversity, I then have to use "input" on the remote control and select "HDMI 3" (I always put it in HDMI 3 port)...

With this, it all plugged in fine but then nothing. Using "input" only displays the normal crap like AV, HDMI etc but none except AV were selectable.

I tried other options on the remote and nothing worked.
Ideas?

It's easier to ask though... :P

edit:
To note, it's an LG 32" TV, if that helps. HD ready, built in freeview. LCD.

So... my tv has a USB port and I was thinking about playing videos from my external hdd on my TV.
The question is, do I need to download anything to be able to do so? I mean, will I be able to Play, Pause etc etc by default? Will it display those functions and then using my normal tv remote I can use the up/down/left/right arrows + the "OK/select" button to select the options?

Does anyone have any idea?

Yesterday, I had googled how to disable the whole permissions crap, and did find a solution to that and did it.
HAd to reboot for it to take affect. Now when I use my old "Bath Rename Utility" it works perfectly. So thanks for the replies guys, but not needed now ;D

So, I have obtained some TV show episodes (avi), and they are named like so:

Fringe.S03E01.HDTV.XviD-LOL
Fringe.S03E02.HDTV.XviD-LOL
...
Fringe.S03E10.HDTV.XviD-LOL
Fringe.S03E11.HDTV.XviD-LOL
...
Fringe.S03E20.HDTV.XviD-LOL
Fringe.S03E21.HDTV.XviD-LOL

Anyone know how I can easily rename them to be like the below?

Fringe - S03E01
Fringe - S03E02
...
Fringe - S03E10
Fringe - S03E11
...
Fringe - S03E20
Fringe - S03E21

A shop is just much better for everyone. Saves everyone having to wait around for staff to give them their "effects" and for staff to not get overwhelmed.

That could all be easily automated with a code in v5, actually. :P

Edit: In fact, in v4 too

Don't say that bitch, just let them add it as a proper feature -.-
