I took three years of Spanish in high school. I barely know any of it though. >.< I've also been tempted to learn Japanese for a while now. I just haven't. Not sure why. It's actually really nice how structural the language seems to be. Hiragana isn't too hard to pick up either. I think from learning, I've discovered how retarded English is. I found a pretty cool site today called italki where the idea is to talk to someone studying your language while you're studying theirs. So you can go on and find Japanese people to chat to or some of them to even Skype with. さよなら - there's also a tool in windows that allows you to type romaji and have hiragana or katakana output.

So how many people know foreign languages? How did you learn them (grew up with both, class, self-study)?
Anyways, right now I'm learning Japanese through self-study. I've already picked up a fair amount, and my goal is to be fairly fluent in 3 months.

I like how before posting the song you diss the band. Owl City is the shit. Also there are still some remnants of the vocals in there. I can hear a slowly and a believe pretty clearly in there. I didn't diss the band. I was just saying I'm not a huge fan, I never dissed them. Also, I thought this was a big accomplishment, because I've been told removing lyrics from a song was hard to do. But eh.  Well it's no easy task separating the vocals from a fixed track.

Oh... I don't know. Maybe that thing called high school... I mean, if my 56 year old mother whose only use of drugs is caffeine has heard of it, and knows what it is. This is a sad, sad day. Seriously, even if you don't do drugs/disapprove of them, a majority of "normal" people know these things. I say normal because well... frankly, you're not. I was largely protected from anything like that in high school. My friends did nothing more than drink and I never saw them do anything more then have a coffee in front of me. No one talked about that kind of stuff and if they did, I obviously didn't pick up on anything. It's also Hitler's birthday! So Firefox 4 is out, and it seems overall pretty fast, and I like the new layout, very sleak and clean (chrome like). Still quite a bit of a memory whore though.
