-The bombs did not end the war as is widely believed. The Japanese surrendered less than a week after Fat Man was dropped due to an invasion from the north by the Soviet Union. The Japanese were not prepared to fight a war on two fronts against the US and USSR. While they might not have been the primary reason, anyone would be crazy not to believe that they were a very important reason.
I can't really justify bombing anyone either, but the Japanese soldiers were under the impression that the US soldiers were essentially the most sadistic bastards ever, and so they fought to the last man. Again, though the bombs may not have been the primary reason, they certainly hurried the decision for surrender.Edit: reading more about it... Yeah, Americans are assholes. From what I read it's basically just because we wanted an "unconditional surrender" and they didn't. So yeah, totally unnecessary.

I'll be seeing it this weekend for sure. It looks awesome and the trailer used perfect music. lol. Plus, I haven't been disappointed with anything Burton has touched since Mars Attacks! so I will definitely be seeing it You were disappointed in Mars Attacks?! Just what I was thinking. I probably won't see 9 until it comes out on demonoid dvd. For whatever reason I'm not a big movie theater goer.

I declare this unfake!  A patterned background or maybe something zany behind the part of the banner that's got the logo and title would spice it up a little. Overall very good color usage, nice clean design, and just about everything else everyone has already said!

Fixed. Lately is an unnecessary adverb in this context. Sure it is. "He hasn't been all that good in the past." That has different meaning than the sentence Josh posted. "He hasn't been all that good" is pretty ambiguous and definitely demands more explanation. Besides, unnecessary =/= wrong. Oh I know that it has different meanings, I'm just suggesting that he hasn't been all that good EVER. I personally don't think this will be that good, but I'll probably see it because it has Mila Kunis.
