According to MIT... well, I dunno. :P I get what I want at extreme speeds.

I'm moving over to Boston. Got a place to crash for me? I really want some of the internet speeds advertised in USA.

June 2005

Firstly, I'd like to announce Happy 5th Birthday to Studio Zero!. This old coger has been with all of us through thick and thin; the heydays of 2005 when the big boards of Zanmato/Zenith Designs and SSD are still alive (and when Chris and I are literally still hippies =P) to now, where we have a nice, tight community of members =D

To celebrate this birthday, we're going to give this old forum some new skin (or clothes).

With this, I'd like to announce to each and one of you guys that Studio Zero version 3 is officially IN production and is currently about 50% complete

Chris, I and a few beta testers have been going through in and out of our special, super secret Research and Development (R&D) boards for the past few months. I can guarantee you, that even with the glacial speed of the development of v5. Our new skin will blow your minds.

So, here is our facebook page. Keep an eye on our development blog for the revival of our entires.

So, postpone any dates with your family/friends/loved ones. Spread the word for us! (watch this space for new premade sigs for you to link)

Happy Birthday once again! :)

That pretty much sums up my hate for the internet here in New Zealand. We have a wireless internet connection with our ISP directly, and marketed 1mbit up/down.

Well, they recently have a policy (one month ago, we have been using the company for about a year!!!) that they are capping us to have 100g a month for a flat of 4 people, even though they advertised us a "true unlimited wireless broadband". Really annoying me as our whole flat pretty much clocked about 111gb.

And guess what, their speeds are not what they lived up to be, I get a direct downloads off international websites for about 110kb/s MAX.

How is your internet connection in your area? Is it cheaper and faster without any bandwidth limitations? It seems in terms of technology, the grass is greener when you go out of New Zealand...

Nightwalker: Just for me so I can get the grammar nazi achievement. I think you're talking about mosque, not masque. Huge difference between these two. :)

Secondly. I still do not believe that 9/11 is caused by the Islamic extrememists unless well proven otherwise. Sure, Freedom Country is attacked by somebody, presumably a "terrorist" but no solid facts have been published even as of now.

Therefore, no, building mosques near that site is not offensive.

And you can say the same thing to the Christians who built churches during the crusade :P

Right. More like, "Hey guys, we released v5 three weeks ago. Figured we'd let you all know..."

More like V5 in 2009... We thinks.

Or v5 in 2012. Just in time for the Mayan prediction of the world ending. xD

And then 2 in one day. :P

Eric: I said significantly off topic. As in, baseball in a thread dedicated to the relief efforts of Katrina. :P Not very related, in most cases. If by reading the thread I see a clear relationship, then I don't care and let it go;
Yeah, but if there's ongoing discussion, my point is, who cares? Some things have directly related connectors, some people skip the 5 steps their mind took getting from one topic to another. I'm just saying let the conversation grow in whatever direction it's taken.

Just be direct with me if I made you tick about my comment in the wImg v3 thread of killing the whole thread with my comment of saying that the thread is off topic.

But hey, at least I didn't go on a lockfest. :)

As I said in the Feedback and Suggestions board: Redundant

Solving is easy from Codewise(Jim) and Graphicswise(Zell).
But Patrick putting this up without prior notice and pissing all the skinners and forum members = Priceless.

yea if you make it like that i don't see a reason to put it in the PM bar...

We could. The main reason why I placed that "View new posts" link is because it balances out the PM bar without making both texts in the area seem too far apart.
