You HAVE seen Google Chrome, right? As for the link, I'm pretty sure it's a fake. It doesn't match the theme of Windows Vista or 7, andthere's no way they'd ditch Aero. Can't we dream? Well, I personally don't like it, so it's more of a nightmare here. EDIT: If you look at the title bar, it calls itself "April Edition." I would think they compile more frequently than monthly, so.. I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

Ugly? That's amazing. I've been waiting for a browser to just come without a bunch of shit in the way, not having to customize it that way. Granted, I tend to customize mine with a lot of other shit in the way, but nothing that you'd see enabled by default on a browser. You HAVE seen Google Chrome, right? As for the link, I'm pretty sure it's a fake. It doesn't match the theme of Windows Vista or 7, andthere's no way they'd ditch Aero. EDIT: Seems this was addressed in the comments on the site. I stand by my view, though.

I personally avoid all kind of libraries like the plague. I enjoy efficiency, and memory is included. If I'm working on something and need one function from a lib, I'm not gonna include an entire lib for that one function, so I write my own version.

That article is wrong. I'll scan some of my CISCO stuff later. I'll have to disagree. While I didn't read most of it, it seems to be jumbling a few things together and confusing things. In base 2 (which they do say), 1MB = 1024KB. So 2GB = 2048 MB = 2,097,152KB. As opposed to 2GB=2000MB=2,000,000KB. Hard drive manufacturers, though, use base 10. Which mucks things up. Because they say 1000MB=1GB, they can sell you a 500GB hard drive that is really ~12GB less when it shows up in base 2 on Windows and Linux. Apple switched to base 10 for Snow Leopard to try and ease the confusion over the fact that someone's 500GB hard drive shows up as having only 488GB on a fresh wipe. It's the manufacturers cheaping us out of the full drive size that they promise, because everyone is used to base 2. I know that. It says all of that.

I lost interest when he refered to 2GB as 2,000MB - He's clearly not a professional. All in all I am not impressed. I've seen calculators with more power... But then again, work's pencil sharpeners were made by Scientific Atlanta... 2GB is 2000MB. I believe you're thinking of GiB and MiB.

Diff Eq? Ha, I'm in Vector Calculus as a Freshman! o.O That was my first semester class. Single Variable Calculus (Junior year of HS) Statistics (Junior year of HS) Multi-variable and Vector Calculus (Fresman year) Differential Equations (Second semester freshman year) Odd, my College teaches them in opposite order.

Math nerd... No, that'd be me. I'm the one in Differential Equations as a freshmen in college (and would have taken it in high school, had it fit in my schedule.) Diff Eq? Ha, I'm in Vector Calculus as a Freshman!
