Something else you might want to try is making it a popout. Have the guys arm come out of the box. I always liked pop outs...

I'm not really a gamer, so steam isn't really something I'm looking for. I'm definitely getting Adium, NewsFire sounds pretty cool too. If you're talking about Chrome the browser, I'm perfectly content with FireFox. And I already have VLC. Any more you can think of?

Got a Mac. And I frequently steal it from her. What are some great, free, applications for Apple computers? I've already got CandyBar, Bodega, and a few others.

Looks pretty good. I'd suggest adding a little more to the text, or at least messing with the opacity on it. It looks a little too 'plain.'

This might be the coolest shopping website I've ever seen. The way it's set up and its Web 2.0 style is amazing.

Alice.com is basically a website that lets you buy average household items such as toilet paper or soap right from your home. Pretty convenient, assuming you're so lazy that you can't drive out and buy the stuff.

iTunes doesn't work on Ubuntu. I think I'm gonna try this out.

I didn't partition because I hated Windows so much, so I'm stuck with Ubuntu unless I find another independent one. I'm really just planning on using it for designing and simple things.

No, this is not a post about which you think is the best with a poll. This is me asking you which OS you think I should get. Frankly, Windows made me want to cough up blood, and Ubuntu can't run anything. Both piss me off. I also don't have the money to buy an Apple. What other free/inexpensive operating systems are there?
