I don't even know how good my eyesight is, but I probably need glasses. I get headaches very easily and often, which is a good sign that I need them. Both my parents had glasses by the time they were... 22, I think? And I'm already almost 8 years past that, so yeah... But I don't want glasses at all. And I can't deal with contacts because I can't stand having to touch my eyes like that... I can't even watch my mom put hers in or take them out. That's not necessarily true. I've never had less than 20/20 on any vision test (my last was a few years ago to get into the Navy), but I've had constant unexplained headaches since I was about 13-14. I used to just blame it on allergies (which definitely makes them worse), but I still get them frequently year round. I dunno why, but it's not my vision. Oh? I was always told it was because I needed glasses. -shrugs-

I'll be the oddball who was born in the middle of the country. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Stayed there for 22 years afterwards, then moved 3 hours south to Texas for 4 years, and now I'm in Cali. Are you the female version of Chris? Um, not that I know of... ?!

I actually did not have any desire to see this at all.
I ended up watching it when my boyfriend rented it though, without having read any of the books at all. It just didn't seem interesting to me and I didn't understand what all the fuss was about.
I'd have to agree that it's a mediocre movie. I'm glad we didn't spend $20+ to see it in the theatre. I thought the whole plot was stupid... maybe it's better in the books, but it just didn't seem realistic at all to me that a community would support the killing of so many young people just for a GAME. I know it's not supposed to be completely realistic, but still... it didn't catch my interest.

My boyfriend does all my cooking. He actually likes to cook, but he works too much... I'm not so good at cooking but I do make a mean banana bread. That's about the only thing I can make really well. The rest is up to my boyfriend and I just help out as much as he'll let me.

Do gun shows count? If so, I've been to two. One in San Francisco and another in Sacramento.

and books... I keep buying more even though I haven't finished other ones. Currently reading four >.< Hah, I'm the same way with books. I have about 450 on my Nook and then more actual books that I still need to read... I never have the time, but I just can't resist when there's a free nook book every Friday from B&N. Other than that, I don't really collect anything... unless you count purses. That's one of my weaknesses. And maybe shoes, but I've at least calmed down in that aspect.

LOL. I love driving downtown in San Francisco. Just sayin'. Ew, haha, no thanks. I'll stick with public transit or walking.

I'm going to have to jump on the "bandwagon" also and go with California. Though, to be fair, I haven't been to every single state to make an accurate comparison. I can definitely say not Oklahoma or Texas though, both of which I have lived. I grew up in OK and I have family there, but there's just nothing else there to attract me anymore, it's flat and boring. But I love it here in NorCal, where I have the flexibility to visit the beach AND play in the snow all in the same day, if I wanted. I love the beauty of snow and the shore. Plus, I'm in love with San Francisco If I could afford to live there, I totally would. Though I'd get rid of my car because I can't stand driving over there.
