DANGIT! That has to be it. I finally found it. :'(

Edit: There should be a rule that you can't post an answer if you won the last one unless some else post and it is the wrong answer. lol. :P

Sorry. And TBH, we have really only 2 active players. Let's say one goes inactive. Then the other must... wait? ??? Also, note the time difference.

In other words, no, not right now. :P

Didn't you catch the LOL? I was joking. No one thinks I'm a joker on here. Jeez.

Edit: Marathon

And that is fine.

I like how this is setup for beginners, but the other fighting over the color thing is a little weird to me because I'm not understanding the difference between nature and computer colors. They all seem the same to me, but that maybe because my color vision is kind of messed up. lol.

lol it is okay, and yes that is quite funny. I just try and find some with "characteristics", "uniqueness", and based on the round, "popularity".

Ok. That's what I do to make stuff for my sister.

Ok, this a is a simple gradient tut. I didn't know you needed two colors to make a gradient and I was goofing off when I found out how to make a gradient on GIMP, so here is my tut on it.

1)Open up GIMP if you don't already have it open and click new. Do 25x25 to start with.
2)Next you have to choice the two colors you want and fill half of it wit one and the other half with the other. I used the colors ff05df and 9e09a7 It should look like this:
You will also need to have it in spots that when you start up it's black on top of white.
3)Now you should go and click the gradient button which is located in the toolbox in between the paint bucket and pencil button. The gradient button would look like this:
4)Now click the the button that saids gradient next to it. Choice what still of of gradient you want. I choiced FG to BG (HSV counter clock-wise). The button will look like this:
5)Then you click from top to bottom(or bottom to to if you want it that way) to create the gradient. (If you want to do it side to side I suggest make the width as long as your boards width. So it would then be 700x25.) Your finish product should look like this:

I hope to see ya'lls finish product.

Follow this tut and what ever you are animate can look like this:

1)Open up GIMP, then go to file, and click new. You need to type in the height and width of what you want to do. For the image above I used 21X9.
2)Next step do a bucket fill to what ever color you want.
3)Create a border like the one in my image.
4)If your making an image like me that needs some transparent part you need to go to layer, transparency, and then click on Add Alpha Channel. Then erase the parts that need to be transparent.
5)You can add a image on a anchored image or you can add text to it like the one I have done.
6)If you adding text for the NEW icon you should put each letter separate from the others. To get what I have.
7)Now hit save as a .gif and save it under a name you want it.
8)During the save it should say this:

Your image should exported before it can be save as a GIF for the following reasons:

GIF plug-in can only handle layers as animation frames
[/b] Merge Visible Layers

[/li][li] Save as Animation[/li][/ul]

The export conversion won't modify your original image.

Click on the Save as Animation and then export.
9)Now it will bring you to this new window. For the Animated GIF Options you want to check Forever Loop, Use delay entered above for all frames, and Use disposal entered above for all frames.
10)Bring delay between frames up where unspecific from 100 milliseconds to 900 milliseconds.
11)You can change the frame disposal to I don't care, Cumulative Layers (combine), or One frame per layer (replace). I choosed the I don't care.
12)Click save and then upload it to view your animation.

Please post your works from this tut here, so that I can see how well y'all did.

Follow this and your userbar can look like this:

1) Open up GIMP and then go to file and hit new. Your width should be 350 and height 19.
2) Pick the colors you want to use. (Border, scanlines, background, and etc.)(I used a light red and a dark red to gradient it.)
3) Add your border. For this userbar I used 000000 for the border. Once you click on the userbar to make your border you can hit shift after letting go on the mouse button to create a straight line.
4) Add your scanlines if you are using scanlines. Remember that scanlines shouldn't be really notice able. I didn't use scanlines.
5) Add your renders and make sure you Anchor the layers down.(I used three renders to make this one.)
6) Add text. Normal font for userbars are Visitor fonts. If you don't have it do a google search on Visitor Font and you can get it that way. It should come with Visitor TT1 BRK and Visitor TT2 BRK. I suggest using Visitor TT1 BRK at 20px.
7) Merge your text to the userbar.
8) Click on the circle tool on the toolbox and then drag it to make it the size you want to use it at.
9) Click the dodge/burn button on the toolbox and make sure it is on. You will have three different settings you can put it on. I suggest using shadows and midtones together.
10) Now go back and redo your border since your images maybe hanging on the edges of them and where you did the dodge at.
11) Go to file and save and save under the name you want it. Now your userbar is finish and it should look like something close to my.

Please post your userbars up after you do this because I would like to see how well this Tut did for y'all.

Ok, this a is a simple transparent menu button tut, so I hope ya'll like it.

1)Open up GIMP and then go to file and new. Then you need to size it to 50x15.
2)You then need to go up to layer, then transparency, and then click Add Alpha Channel. Then click the eraser and erase the background.
3)Next zoom in so that you can see it better.
4)I suggest doing the calendar first because you can the use it's font size on the rest of the menu buttons instand of having them all different sizes.
5)Next choose your font. I will be using Visitor TT1 BRK.
6)Then choose your font color. I will be using ff05df.
7)Now type calendar into the menu button. It should be to big and to long for it at first.
8)Now you slowly lower the font size for it to fit and look prefect. The font I choose made me go down to a font size 10. This is what the calendar menu button should look like so far:
9)Next you need to add a border around the font. For this one I will be using FFFFFF.
10)Ok. Now you are finish and it should look like something like this:

Now when you have finish yours please post it here, so that I can see it.

Ok, let get start on this tut.

1)You will need to either open a image on GIMP for this or edit the image you want to use. For this tut I will be using the banner I made for Girls Rule.
2)Go to the left hand side and click on the A button, which s your text button. It would look like this:
3)You need to pick your text color. Since I am using the Girls Rule banner I have used ff05df. Oh, and it is important to get a text color that stands out from the other colors on the logo or whatever your using.
4)Choice your text because this will be important for the next step. Since I am using the Girls Rule banner I have used the text LainieDaySH.
5)Now depending on the text you choice depends on the height that you use. For the Girls Rule banner I used sized 90, but like I said. It depends on the text you choice.
6)Next you have to center the text. Very easy to do. All you got to do is grab the text box and drag it to the middle. You won't always hit dead center, but close is good enough in some cases. Just make sure when you let go of it you look at it to make sure it is as close to center as can be.
7)This is the last step, so follow closely. Go up to layer and then click on merge down. There now your text is attach to the banner and it should look like this.

Oh, and the small text that has Girls Rules and Made By: Webmistress Jesse/Mrs. Mommy Marlett is Visitor TT2 BRK at size 18.

Well, congrats on your finish text. I hope you see them here to see how well you followed my tut.
