a_leon hangs around PBS these days. If Ash is the same Ash I'm thinking of (English guy, rugby player, used to be a rather good designer) then he too occasionally pops onto PBS from time to time. He posted in the SSD thread in GT the other day. Ah you should let Jim know about that I'm sure he'd be interested in talking to him.. he and A._Leon are close... ... ...

Well, only the main admin can upgrade a forum, and I think Kay was the last main admin? They handed it back to Car (UC). Damn, I'm so out of the loop. Whatever happened to Ash/A_leon? I'm not sure what happened to Ash. As for A_leon, no one really knows with that guy. He just sort of vanishes for almost years at a time. I heard he goes off the grid for several years at a time to harvest alpaca wool

Naruto.  And yeah, SO just basically disappeared one day. >.< Still not ringing a bell... You were active on Zanmato? I was even a moderator. Of course, for a long time, I went by 0blivion there (including when I was a mod). I originally joined as Lucifer, but I don't think I went back to that until around the time SZ popped up. I completely forgot you used that name, same as Greg used to go by "gbee"

whaddya know, proboards crosses my mind, SZ is the only remaining forum left, and retro classics are popping up just this year. eric, combo, lucifer, quacker, crazyj... i laughed when shadowyone came up. G101 and SSD might've been full of memories and drama but hatake was pure magic. it's been a long time. i actually miss a lot of you guys. Dude, what the christ, its been for fucking ever, what's goin on man? PS what''s up with all the sudden PB withdrawal at the same time lol

Chris: It's not really my home base, so they put me in hotels on offsite rotations. Eric: Cool, never been to Simi Valley. Seems like you have quite a commute to Glendale.  Seems like just yesterday we were 15 living on msn talking about trivial things lol, now you've landed yourself some big job on the other side of the continent; and I'm back in school with a baby boy on the way.

Yes, I fully intend on staying in Cali, just wanted to see what others would say. I don't really care much for PA or MD. Most of the old timers here (those who joined mostly in '05, or in '06) go way back on forums previous to SZ like SolidSnake Designs (SSD), Zanmato Design (ZD), Hatake Forum, SoCal, and probably a couple other ones I can't think of right now (what was the one sky.strife was admin of, and what the fuck happened to that guy?). Combo was never very active here (obviously), but he was extremely active at SSD and ZD like the rest of us (though I never really cared for the community at SSD and stuck mostly to ZD). So yeah, that's why a few of us are geeking out since we all know him quite well, but the forums we all met on originally are long since dead (at least to my knowledge) and he didn't come around these parts much (hence 37 posts). But yes, yes his 35 posts were that legendary. YEAH IM A BIG DEAL K?... Honestly I was just thinking about Zanmato the other day and was pondering if any of the old boards still survive. Proboards seems almost apocalyptic compared to what it used to be. its good to see your all doing well though, Chris, Lucifer, Jim, ect.
