Busy with work, for the most part. I've held the title of Lead Projectionist at my local movie theater for almost five years now, and things have been picking up quite a bit lately. I've heard about lots of good things that are supposed to be happening very early on this year, so it's gonna be fun. Outside of that, I've been trying to get into comic writing. I have two stories planned out pretty far, so I've been struggling to write a script for either one. Scriptwriting is a lot harder than it sounds.

The Last of Us
Naughty Dog's very solid take on the whole "zombie apocalypse" thing. Unfortunately, I played it mostly to see how the story panned out, so the ending ruined almost everything for me. Still had plenty of fun playing through it, but I'm gonna have that rotten taste in my mouth for weeks.
Dust: An Elysian Tail
It took me a few days before I noticed the title pun. Get it? Tail? Cuz there are furry characters in it? IT'S A JOKE!
Also a mediocre ending, but it didn't get to me as much. The game itself was a lot of fun, and I'll probably be heading back into it later on to farm the rest of the achievements. Honestly, I was quite surprised with it. Definitely a fine gem from the Steam winter sale.

I'm not really sure why this was disabled in the first place, but it's enabled now. Any new accounts will need to be activated before it's possible to post. Hopefully, this will help to reduce some of the spam attacks we've been getting lately. If it still proves to be a problem, I'm going to make it so all new accounts need to be approved by an admin first.
Also, please remember that you can report spam posts. I do still check this forum regularly, so I will see any reported posts right away.

I've been pumping seemingly endless streams of money into my computer to give it a long-overdue upgrade. Rig details can be viewed on my overclock.net profile: www.overclock.net/lists/display/view/id/5107958It's been a fun build so far. I'm looking into getting a full custom water cooling system now.

The graphic settings are starting to annoy me. At max settings with SSAA 4x, I can get an average of around 90fps (min 45) with vsync off, but the screen tearing is unbearable. Yet, with vsync on, I only average around 50fps with a min of 35. blegh. Maybe I should suck it up and buy a 120Hz monitor.

Hey, I don't do that.
Well, that should suffice April's post (I'm ahead of myself right now). See you all again in May!

Tell me where I can get $50 for having one done and I'll do like four of them tomorrow.
On a more serious note, I've always considered having one done. It just seems like something that can't do anything but good, even if you're all but certain there's nothing wrong with you. You just don't know what it can reveal.

It's been out for a week now. Who's had the chance to play it so far? I finished it a few days ago, and I'm pretty impressed. Gameplay is great and it looks absolutely gorgeous (on PC, at least).

It's The Ball, right? Also, would you mind replacing the funky characters in the scoreboard for my name with just "Scorpian?" I gave up on that gag years ago.

They push a new version of Fx every six weeks, regardless of whether or not anything note-worthy was added. Most of the changes are so minor that you barely even notice them, but they do add up. Compare the overall speed, responsiveness, and features of Fx 15 to Fx 16, and you'll probably give up and say they're the same thing with different version numbers. But compare Fx 18 to Fx 10, and you'll notice an eyebrow-raising difference.

Just read that it got pushed back to late 2013. Tis a shame. It really does look like a lot of fun.

Limbo was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I finished Quantum Conundrum yesterday. That was...uh...interesting. It definitely shows the dark side of Unreal 3, though. The lack of any advanced video options (or even most of the basic ones) definitely doesn't help.

I heard he graduated from MIT and went to work at some research facility in New Mexico. I heard that was classified. I also heard the FBI just dispatched a team to Texas to take out some guy named John R. Good. I've heard a lot about that guy. Sounds like a real dick, if you ask me.

Whatever happened to that cddude guy? I think he's doing something on the west coast now. Not quite sure. I heard he graduated from MIT and went to work at some research facility in New Mexico.
