It also is when lots of people get belligerently drunk for no reason. That's Cinco de Mayo, which isn't really anything worth celebrating.

I've sent invites to those who have asked. Basically it seems that what I send counts as an invite, and seemingly ever couple of hours more slots are opened. So if you check at the right time you can get in.

Pretty cool. The main thing that I notice is just the lack of balance. I don't think you should go for symmetrical, but I feel like there does need to be something on the right to level it out some. I feel like I hardly even want to look at the content because the focus is to the left.

Yeah that's my point. The purpose of the ads is to generate revenue for ProBoards, which is the same thing they're doing with a paid app. Ok Which is why I'm not getting you're point. That's exactly what I was saying. It's not hard to put ads in android apps, it's built right into the api. They'd probably get far more downloads -- and ultimately more revenue, from doing ads than from making it paid.

Well, if the app is ad-less then wouldn't you just be paying for the ads you aren't viewing? Which kind of defeats the purpose of ads.

Eh, people like to get paid for their work. I don't blame them. I won't be buying this though. Proboards has made tons on ads, I don't see why they felt the need to change.
