I have been a fiddler with graphics now for many years, sadly i have no skills to create my own pieces of art, brushes, textures, renders yada yada... So i just use what gimp has to offer, until i get the courage to do my own thing so to speak. Anyways i was fiddling as normal and i made two pieces, which i am quite proud of. I'm also working on another and will show that when i'm happy with it. Until then here's the first two. Any advice, criticism & just general comments are welcomed. Bad AppleGoing to hell

mhm his English isn't too good that's for sure. He has shown me his version of the menu button's hover code, erm where they change color when hovered over. Other than that, he's just being useful at the moment, by posting what he thinks are helpful links for coding such as free software, does and don'ts etc. I will definitely be keeping my eye on him and his movements, if i spot something that makes me doubt his capabilities even more so then who can i ask to confirm these doubts?

No Kathy, i just hired a guy on my forum to give hints and tips on codes since he said he was the bee's knees. He has provided me with a few posts, which is always a plus but as i don't know him i dunno' just hard to see if he's genuine and such.
JD so lets say my guy does some coding of his own, he does 3 or more codes for me; all his codes will have his own personal signature/give away's to say that okay these could be his codes?

Possible suggestion for a new board or perhaps a show and rate or even just a graphics tutorial.
My idea is a total noob will start a thread showing what they can do with their graphics software and explain how they got to that stage. Then another member will reply and add to that first image, making it look well more professional and also mention how they took the image from noob to professional looking.
Did that make sense? Whatcha think?

Right so are you saying that the only way to see if a code is unique and not ripped, is to look at the code; line by line to see if its different?

Okay because of my forum type i thought i should brush up on some things, code related. Like
How can you spot a copyrighted code, its obvious if there's a name there. but what if that name has been changed or the code itself has been altered?
What links are acceptable, for software purposes and html use. Are there any that are considered wrong or what not?
I sent a private message to Chris because i see he helped code SZ but i haven't heard back and so i thought it would be a good idea to get everyones hints and tips on codes and how to spot a ripper.

I'm not British...but I am watching it. Portugal's my team, and I'm happy to see them go to the next round. I remember Zidane too...and that headbutt. I don't know why everyone was so upset about it, THAT was great television. EXACTLY! omgosh that headbutt was EPIC, just like Cantona and Gazza everyone remembers the melt downs  ⸗April⸗ ha, i hope u got a good deal?

I remember the screen for it too, only a 15 inch off white color and heaaaaaaaaaaaaaavy to move. it was twice as wide, depth wise rofl it was stuffed with house bricks instead of memory and data chips i reckon lol

yeah i gathered this place is more than graphics and coding, by the generators... awesome idea  Thanks for the reply and link and my forum is a mash up of graphics and html, but for imvu members as well as proboards or well anywhere i guess lol. I'd say its an art's forum lol. Show and rate etc, art is such a broad term i think and so it encompasses graphics html and creative writing well in the future anyways >.<

Sorry. The logic is it is better to affiliate with a forum that has shown establishment and reason for affiliation. However, note the "website and forum" part... if you provided 100 (unique) PB codes or something, that'd probably be worth 2-3k posts, etc. It's about content really. Yup makes sense, i skipped the rules and just followed suit i guess. that'll teach me to slow down huh? As for coding lol i wish i was a coder or a graphics designer, but im neither. i just tinker with the two xD
